Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Associate

OVERVIEW OF THE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

• 1 shift (6am 2:30pm)
• Monday Friday (40hrs per week)
• Permanent
• Great work environment
• Location: Warren, MI 48091

This position is performed in a factory environment.

You will be responsible for assisting the Shipping Department.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

• Must know how to operate a Forklift (Hilo Certification will be a plus)
• Must have at least 1 year of experience on the Shipping and Receiving department and that experience must be present on your resume
• Computer skills will be a plus
• Previous and recent work experience in a factory or warehouse is required
• Must be able to start immediately
• Must be able to present at least one professional reference
• Must have reliable transportation
• Pass drug screening and background check
• Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Safety conscious behavior.
• Fluent in English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

• Lift, carry and push and or pull up to 50lbs
• Work in an industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection and other appropriate clothing
• Bend, twist and reach overhead frequently stand for 1-10hrs per day
