Outdoor General Laborer

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OUTDOOR GENERAL LABORER

As an Outdoor General Laborer, you enjoy being outside while providing exceptional maintenance services. Your physical fitness is essential as you load and unload materials from work trucks. You perform light landscaping activities. You also collect recycling materials and maintain overall cleanliness, organization, and safety. Always happy to help, you step in and perform other general maintenance duties as needed. It is rewarding to know that your hard work ensures the safety and beauty of our city.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Recent landscaping, factory work, or related physical work experience
• Willing to work under varying weather conditions
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, and lift heavy objects
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
