Outdoor General Laborer / Landscaper

EMB Solutions in Grosse Pointe, MI is seeking to hire a full-time Outdoor General Laborer / Landscaper to join the public works department and provide maintenance in the city. Our Outdoor General Laborer / Landscaper works a set schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. We have permanent year-round positions as well as seasonal to permanent positions (March-December). This position comes with a competitive pay of $13.00/hour and generous benefits. These benefits are available upon hire and include being part of a union, pay increases, vacation, holidays, sick days, and health insurance. You also collect recycling materials and maintain overall cleanliness, organization, and safety. Always happy to help, you step in and perform other general maintenance duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Recent landscaping, factory work, or related physical work experience
• Willing to work under varying weather conditions
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, and lift heavy objects
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
