A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOCAL TRUCK DRIVER
As a 1st shift Local Truck Driver, you represent our company with a friendly and professional
personality. Before getting on the road, you plan routes and delivery schedules as well as load the
auto parts into your truck securely. With attention to detail, you inspect vehicles for mechanical
items and safety issues. You always comply with trucking rules and regulations regarding size,
weight, and route designations.

When you reach your destination, you maneuver your truck into the loading or unloading
position. You deliver or pick up auto parts and collect any paperwork needed. It is because of you
that our parts are delivered on time and that our clients get what they need. You operate at all
times with a safety-first mentality and serve as a role model of safety to new drivers and the
community. Working the 1st shift, you finish your day before dark. You enjoy being on the move
each day and love that you never have to go too far!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LOCAL TRUCK DRIVER

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience as a truck driver
Chauffeur driver's license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation
Ability to start immediately
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Willingness to undergo a drug screening and background check upon hire
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time driving position typically works Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. This is
a 1st shift position with Fridays off.
