Human Resources Manager

Multinational company is looking to hire a dynamic, thoughtful and reliable bilingual English/Spanish HR professional with great leadership and people skills.

The HR Manager will provide leadership over all employee-related matters for multiple locations in the Brownstown area. He/she would be in charge of all employee related areas including recruitment, hiring, firing, WC, Safety, Benefits, employee relations, training, on-boarding, payroll and unemployment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 1 years of HR Generalist experience
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, management, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Must have a positive attitude and a passion for helping people achieve their potential

Responsibilities:

• Establish trust and maintain professional relationships with all levels of employees
• Screen, recruit and interview applicants who qualify for open positions
• Conduct new hire employee orientations/on-boarding and/or exit interviews
• Review and revise employee handbook based on facility's policy and procedures
• Participate in the development of personnel policies and procedures
• Knowledge of 401k summary plan details
• Oversee payroll duties to ensure that staffing hours are within required parameters
• Ensure administration of all benefit programs
• Coordinate and deliver training programs
• Comply with Michigan state and Federal employment laws and regulations
• Review all employee discipline and grievances
• Administer PML
• EEOC Reporting
• ACA reporting

Job: Full time

Temp-to-hire or Direct Hire

Pay: $19-$25/hr. based on experience and qualifications

8am - 5pm

Availability to work overtime and one afternoon per week

License/Certification:

• Professional In Human Resources or equivalent experience
